Yana Babayeva Appointed as New Chief Editor of Yakutia-Sakha Information Agency

Yana Babayeva, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both media and government structures, has been appointed as the new chief editor of the Yakutia-Sakha Information Agency (YASIA). She aims to strengthen trust and promptly cover important public events.

Babayeva's career began in 2010 at 'Shelehov TV' company. She then worked at 'Dorozhnoe Radio' and 'Ona+' newspaper before joining the government sector. From 2015 to 2020, she held various positions in the press service of the Yakutsk City Administration. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

In her new role, Babayeva seeks to expand analytical materials and ensure prompt coverage of significant public events. She has previously worked at the Center for Regional Management and the Department of Information Policy of the Administration of the Head and Government of Yakutia. Her diverse background includes serving as press secretary at 'SakhaTelecom' and working as an editor and host on 'Yakutia 24' TV channel.
